Meet Frances!
Frances Tully, Masters in Education (M.Ed) is a veteran educator and advocate for healthy parent–teacher engagement with over 30 years of experience teaching preschool through first grade and providing reading support through eighth grade. She holds degrees from Lynchburg University (BA) and Lesley University and has pursued continued professional learning through conferences, mindfulness training, and advanced child development coursework at Bank Street College.
Regionally recognized as an expert in parenting and education, Tully wrote a weekly column for The Marblehead Reporter addressing family and school-related issues. She is also the founder and board member of The Magic Hat, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift store that has raised over $2 million to fund enrichment programs across six K–12 schools, earning coverage from local and national media.
A graduate of the Parent Coaching Institute, Tully is the mother of three adult sons and lives with her husband in Massachusetts.
